Let's Hear It for the Boys

The Cap Times is fronting on its website today a story about four McFarland teenagers who saved a mother and two children from a burning van near Madison this past Saturday.

The discussion in the article about the different reactions between the teens and the other adult onlookers is particularly interesting, although I don't think you can make too broad of an assessment from it.

Nevertheless, I hope stories like this one are remembered the next time someone starts complaining about the supposedly tuned-out and destructive generation of youths in our country.
