Another Actual Public Hearing on Revenue Amendment Scheduled

This time it's going to be in Madison this Wednesday, April 5 at noon.

At the last real public hearing that took place in Pewaukee, opponents far outnumbered supporters. With that one being in conservative Waukesha County and this one taking place in liberal Madison, you would expect opponents to outnumber supporters even more this time around.

I suspect, though, we might see a concerted effort on the part of pro-amendment groups to get a good number of supporters at this hearing. Whether it's enough to shift the balance of the hearing is highly questionable, but more bad press is the last thing amendment advocates want to see.
