Rough Week for Republican Proposals
It's been a rough past couple days for Republican proposals.
First UW-Madison economist Andrew Reschovsky published this report that undercuts the justification for the revenue restrictions amendment proposed by Wisconsin state Republican leaders.
And now prominent MIT economist Jonathan Gruber reports that if the Bush Administration's proposal to expand Health Savings Accounts (HSAs) is enacted, the number of Americans without health insurance will increase by about 600,000 people.
I suppose conservatives will always have their rhetoric to fall back on.
